History
Luxgen was founded in 2009, and the company's motto is "Think Ahead". From 2010 to 2020, its vehicles were manufactured and marketed in China by Dongfeng Yulon. Currently, Luxgen products are primarily manufactured and marketed in Taiwan.
In late 2025, it has been announced that Foxtron have acquired the Luxgen brand. Foxtron then released a website and a new EV car model.
Luxgen was previously a joint-venture between Foxconn and Yulon Motors. See Yulon Motors
From 2026, it is said that Luxgen will not release new models and that it will now operate a dedicated sales system for the Foxtron products.
